the user interface of kingsoft wps office has a lot of missing features when compared to microsoft office. it's not as fast as ms office, but it does have a lot of functions like ms office. it also has the basic office functions and has the ability to work with other formats. this program comes with a calendar and a note pad and there is also a powerpoint and excel in this program.
at the moment, it is the best office suite that i have tested so far. the interface is easy to use and doesn't need as much configuration as some of the other office suites. i'm very satisfied with the user interface and it is very easy to use.
i've been using this product for years now and i can say that it's one of the best office suites that i've ever tried. it is simple and easy to use. the interface is not only easy to navigate, it's also customizable so that it works for your specific needs.
i want to use linux but am on the fence about it. the reason ms office. my work requires me to work on ppt and xlsx files and also share them others. we can give all the hate we want to give to microsoft, but ms office programs are excellent. especially word, powerpoint, and excel. they are mature pieces of software. if i want to use linux but also need to collaborate with people on ppts, then wps office is the best alternative as of this comments date. most of the formatting and alignment is preserved. whatever little is not preserved can be edited without difficulty. i wish libreoffice had excellent compatibility with ppt files, but that sucks as of now, honestly. wish it were different, but hey, thats what it is. and thats why i think, for now, wps office is the best alternative for people using linux who also want to work on files created using ms office (created either by them or others).
